When the status on screen reads “awaiting exchange”, this means that the output is processing. The deposit sent to ShapeShift has indeed been received, confirmed on the network, and is awaiting the trade process from ShapeShift. The output transaction is likely in the middle of processing and will be sent to you shortly!
