If you need to change your email or password, you can do that via the Membership Portal. Here are some quick step-by-step directions.
Step One: Log in to your ShapeShift account.
Step Two: Look at the lefthand panel underneath your profile picture. You should see an option called "Settings". Please click this tab.
Step Three: If you want to update your email address, click "Update Email" and type in the new email address you would like to use. If you need to update your password, click "Update Password" instead. If you need to update both, you'll update them separately.
Step Four: Type in your new email or password. If you are changing your password, you will have to confirm your current password as well as your new password.
Step Five: Click "Update".
You may then receive an email to confirm your changes. Please follow any instructions given in the email.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are having trouble updating your email address or password, you likely signed up with Google. If you signed up with Google, you cannot change your email address or password, and you will need to sign in using your Google details. If you would like to change your password, you will have to do so via Google.
