We know that the crypto community loves to surf the web with Brave. That is why we have assured ShapeShift is accessible to all Brave users. If you are trying to use Brave with ShapeShift and you need a little help, this troubleshooting guide should give you all the answers you need.
ShapeShift does not work with every version of Brave. Please assure that you are on Version 0.66.99 Chromium: 75.0.3770.100 (Official Build) (64-bit) if you are trying to use ShapeShift. If you are not on this version or later, please update your browser.
When you are trying to use our integration of Banxa to buy crypto, you may notice that it can take a long while to load, if it loads at all. This is due to Brave's privacy settings. To resolve this issue, simply find the Shield icon near your URL bar and click on it. This will allow you to "take down" the Shields. Once you do this, reload the page, try again, and finish your transaction.
To restore your privacy settings once you are finished, simply click the Shield icon again. This will put the Shields back up.
Switching to Brave
If you were previously using another browser and you prefer to use Brave, you may have already Paired your device. Please keep in mind that you will need to Pair your device again for it to function properly with your new browser of choice.
